Mark J. Rosenberg, MA, DDS, MPH, FAGD is a comprehensive dentist who retired as a CAPTAIN with the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Dental Corps after 26 years of active duty. A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, and the University of Texas School of Public Health, he has been in practice for 46 years. While serving with USPHS, he provided care, and managed dental clinics and programs throughout the United States, from southern New Mexico to northern/central Alaska, finally being assigned to the Reno area, and then “retiring” in Sparks. In 2004 Mark was recruited by Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center to develop and staff a hospital based dental program for very young, disabled, “special” children and handicapped adults. He ultimately provided oral rehabilitation care to over 10,000 patients in area hospital operating rooms. Mark served on the Nevada Oral Health Advisory Committee and Northern Nevada Oral Health Coalition for over 15 years. When not skiing, running, kayaking, or bicycle riding and touring, he volunteers his efforts with Remote Area Medical Program and Tonopah Dental Clinic.
